Our company offers specialized mixers with mechanical activation, which greatly improve the quality of mixing finely dispersed raw materials. We use a special mixing technology with mechanical activation of raw materials (grinding in a thick layer). This technology allows one to properly distribute the binder into the inert aggregates. This allows one to save cement and pigments. Besides, the mixing technology allows reducing the flakiness of the molding powder being prepared. It significantly increases the grade strength of the finished product.

 

Mechanical activation of the mixture somehow differs from conventional mixing. Mixing presupposes a uniform distribution of the different components’ particles in a particular mixture volume.  During mechanical activation, there’s not just a mixing process but the process during which the surfaces of the mixed particles are damaged with the following removal of oxide films. The exposed surfaces react faster with the materials surrounding them. As a result of the mixture’s mechanical activation, the quality of the final product is greatly improved (strength, water absorption, and frost resistance).

Our company produces several types of mixers and mechanical activators. Roller mechanical activators are the most efficient mechanisms of ours at the moment.

Advantages of TITAN MA mixer-mechanical activators:

  • During the grinding process, the shape of the particles of inert materials usually becomes better because they stop being flaky (the mixture particles acquire a more spherical shape, which is a better shape in terms of the concrete durability and the binder consumption);
  • During the mixing process, the surfaces of the particles are literally peeled. Oxide films are removed, which allows increasing the adhesion of the particles to each other and the binder. The result is increased grade strength and reduced water absorption;
  • When molding products, we usually need slightly less pressure in order to make the products of the same strength. As a result, when designing or modernizing production using TITAN iM mixers, we can use presses with a lower compression molding pressure.

Intensive mixers and mechanical activation mixers can be used for mixing highly abrasive raw materials.

Soft (sedimentary rocks).

Intensive mixers can be used for mixing sedimentary rocks are raw materials for concrete bricks, blocks, and tiles. While used there is a big economical effect and cement saving.

Pigments.

TITAN iM intensive mixers are widely used for fine powder distribution in big batches with astonishing results. Intensive mixers can effectively distribute even small amounts of powders in almost any batch. 

Silica-sand mix.

Intensive mixers are very successful in mixing raw materials for silica-sand technology.
