Do You Have A Project Related To Bricks And Blocks Stacking?

General Information

Brief Description

Our company produces automatic manipulators (stacking robots, industrial robots) for stacking bricks, blocks, and other products.

There are two main systems that we use when addressing the issue of automatic stacking of ready-made products:

  • Systems based on the robotic arms (robotic arms, industrial robots) from other manufacturers (Kuka, ABB, Fanuc Robotic, Kawasaki, Motoman).
  • Systems based on TITAN ZORG gantry manipulators designers by us.

The main field of application of TITAN stackers based on industrial robots (robotic arms) is the automation of the manufacturing process of small-piece concrete products: bricks, blocks, paving slabs. We use robots from reliable manufacturers that fared themselves well in the robotics market.

TITAN brick stackers can be easily integrated with our hyper-presses. We can also add a set of grippers suitable for third-party brick presses to the brick stacker robot.

Our company uses industrial robots from the world’s leading manufacturers.

TITAN MACHINERY has developed and implemented individual solutions for the implementation of robots for different industries connected with the production of construction materials. We are focusing our attention on the automation of hyper presses for the production of bricks, blocks, and paving slabs. Our industrial stacking robots can be used for the automation of silicate plants, in the ceramics industry, and in the manufacturing of small-piece concrete products.

For large brick factories (silicate manufacturing, ceramic brick manufacturing), we usually use reliable 4-axis stacking robots that have a maximum load of 450-500 kg; for the manufacturing of facing bricks and tiles, we use 6-axis articulated robots. We also use industrial 4-axis delta robots for product packaging.

When changing the format of the manufactured product, one can quickly readjust the grippers or change the grabber (assembled gripper contact block).

Robots that operate in brick manufacturing are exposed to extreme conditions of dust and dirt. These factors increase the requirements for their reliability.

We use industrial robots designed by Kuka, ABB, Fanuc, etc.

Being specialists in the sphere of robotics and automation technology, KUKA Robotics, ABB, Fanuc are among the leading manufacturers of industrial robots. These companies provide a broad range of robots with almost all classes and of carrying capacity and types. This allows the above-mentioned companies to set standards of human and robot cooperation.

Our company provides services of brick stacking robots installation and their equipping with special pneumatic grippers designed by us.

The gripper contact block is usually made of lightweight alloys. Upon request, we also manufacture gripper contact blocks that can provide the additional grouping of products and their 90-degree turn.

The specialists of our company provide programming of the stacking robots and their implementation into the general system for ready-made goods’ transportation.

The use of robots in the manufacturing of bricks and blocks has several advantages. For example:

  • increase in working efficiency (because they allow using technological equipment in three to four shifts all year round);
  • reduction of the production costs and increase competitiveness;
  • rational use of equipment and production area;
  • product quality improvement related to the improvement of the technological operations’ accuracy;
  • elimination of the human factor on the assembly line production, as well as during the implementation of repetitive tasks requiring high accuracy;
  • elimination of personnel exposure to harmful factors;
  • reduction of the payback period of investment.

The use of ready-made industrial robots provides particular advantages when stacking bricks and blocks (organizing a transport system for ready-made products):

  • The industrial robot stacker has many degrees of freedom: 6-7 and even more, which allows it to grip, turn over and move the product along a complex trajectory;
  • The industrial robot provides the highest accuracy, which can be often excessive when stacking bricks, blocks, and other products;
  • The industrial brick stacker robot provides a very high stacking speed;
  • If necessary, the brick robot-manipulator can perform complex “bundling” (lashing);
  • If the stacking robot is refitted with sensors, it can adjust the height of the products in a dynamic mode.

The use of robots in the manufacturing of bricks and blocks

Human and robot cooperation.

If the human and robot cooperate, they work arm-in-arm. A human operates and controls the manufacturing, while a robot performs heavy and repetitive physical work. Both participants of the manufacturing process reveal their best qualities, which is the key principle of Industrie 4.0.

Production automation.

One of our main advantages is the long-term experience of working with many manufacturing technologies, which allows us constantly improve and develop our products. We are glad to share our experience with you and do our best to implement your ideas!
